COLAB! is an opportunity to reflect on the dynamics of life and work in the spaces of learning and creation. Through this activity the idea and concept of LABOR OFFICE emerged: a moment of reflection without pretensions and of intense work; essential for every creative act.
The workshop was executed by MAPA + FAU UniRitter, held in the university as part of the ARCHITECTURE WEEK. Throughout four days, there was student participation from the architecture and landscape course. A consistent design exercise was elaborated in the creation of the LABOR LEISUIRE CELL: a multifunctional structure designed for the creative and leisure use of students, teachers and staff.
On the first two days of workshop, various groups proposed several ideas for the CELL using preselected contructive elements (32 pieces of OSB and MLC wood, and 10 meters of fabric). At the end of this creative process involving development drawings, diagrams and scale models, a proposal was chosen collectively for building. The final object is located at the University hall and it is used for the leisure and creativity of students and the entire UniRitter.
