Porto do Sol House
Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil
2010
The project is committed to an unconventional appropriation of private space in relation to the successive spaces: garden, private space and back garden. Modifying the land as a topographic strategy, the house rises in a volume while the land is lowered generating a passage.

The house Casa Porto do Sol is located in the south of Porto Alegre. The project is committed to an unconventional appropriation of private space in relation to the successive spaces: garden, private space and back garden.
Modifying the land as a topographic strategy, the house rises in a volume while the land is lowered generating a passage.
This space is transformed into an access slope.
The entrance volume contains the living room and kitchen, and is located at the bottom of the land. The service block works as a connector between the parts of the house.
This proposal explores new spaces capable of modifying the living experiences, the house-ground and interior-exterior relationships.
Perforated plates and lattices that open and close to filter the lights and views.
